You strive, accomplish, strive again and accomplish more. Do you feel you are a thriving woman, driven, successful but secretly feeling unfulfilled and unhappy?
You may feel a tinge of embarrassment, guilt for having these feelings because you are that successful, raising great kids, have a loving home and from the outside looking in, you have a good life. You’re doing it all (and possibly living by invisible rules you unconsciously follow that subsequently drain you.)
I see you.
You have this faint scream coming from down deep inside that you are more than all the “doing” and you yearn for joy and peace
Yet, you can’t imagine how to pivot, because you fear if you stop doing it all, everything will spiral out of control…
Sound familiar?
While “life” seems to be always on the go there are ways to do what you love and still have energy to do it without depleting yourself. This is especially true for the women who I work with who realize they don’t have to give up what they love to feel happy, fulfilled, peaceful. They just need to discover what the “inner” tweaks and deeper connection to their deepest self is so they can make an impactful shift.
But to keep it simple for today’s Fitness For The Soul Take away, first let’s look at signs of BURNOUT and what you can do on at the physical level to help your physical body out!
3 Signs of Burnout:
- Emotional exhaustion is a chronic state of stress caused by demands of your job and personal life. You feel depleted. It burns up the minerals in your body.
- TIP: Magnesium, Vitamin D3 and Vitamin C can help replenish these minerals and assist your adrenals. I can not emphasize these supplements enough especially Mg.
- Loss of Self is a result of saying yes when you really mean no. If you take care of the needs of others before your own, your third chakra or personal power center becomes compromised.
- Tip: Find one thing you can say “NO” to and say “YES” to yourself this week and check in to see how you feel. How does your body respond and your heart?
- Tip: By saying ‘yes’ to others when really you want to say ‘no’ is denying your own internal needs. By saying ‘NO’ is your first act of self-love
- Loss of Confidence and Competence are linked with depression. You may feel hopeless or that your feelings don’t matter.
- Tip: Write down three things everyday that you appreciate about you. Brag! If only to yourself but, if you can, share it with a friend that you can be yourself around. Or you can post here and share it with me!
- Tip: Do something you love everyday. Create a morning routine that feeds your soul! Reading, Prayer, having a cup of
your favorite coffee in the quiet morning. A walk in nature. Create art. Writing a poem. Knitting. Whatever it is, do something for yourself daily.
Which tip are you willing to do? Make a commitment to yourself to follow through on one of these or maybe these tips sparked an idea…listen to that and follow that nudge.
Along with the tips I shared I invite you to take an active participation in your wellbeing. Ask yourself where you feel deprived. Listen for what comes up and do that. To regain your sense of self, you can try meditation, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), do a green cleanse on Sunday or grab one of Amy’s powerful S.O.U.L Discovery Session and Energy Healings where you Shift, Overcome, Unleash or Liberate yourself from what is keeping you stuck and unhappy!
I know this time of year is a good time to reflect and so I invite you to look at what is working for you and what isn’t. Instead of getting caught up in all the ‘doing’, I want you to pause and enjoy what matters to you.
You are a gift to me. Thanks for being here,
Amy
